François-Olivier Nolorgues is a French figurative painter. His work is part of a quasi-holistic approach for which he restitutes on canvas the intimate energy of the people he meets.
Attitudes, movements, sensations, personalities, he agrees to say that he tries tohe tries to stick as much as possible to the sincere reality of the moment and of the person he is painting. That’s why he never knows in advance what it will look like.
Automatic painting of a tormented timeit listens to the future and and transcribes it in the present as if the truth was somewhere possible to materialize…
