Philippe Berson is a performer living and working between Paris and Palermo where he has settled for twenty years.

Assembling mineral (metal) and organic (animal bones) material , the artist tries through his primal constructions, an almost shamanic approach to sculpture . This approach is also embodied in his pictorial works, where the sacred competes with the profane.

He has exhibited in many artistic events around the world : Venice Biennale, NYC – Performance “The Kraken” at The Stone, Persona Exhibition at the Alloggiato San Bartolomeo in Palermo, Istanbul Biennale etc.

Philippe Berson is co-founder of a collective of artists “LEMOSCHE” based in Palermo . “LEMOSCHE” organizes exhibitions, performances as well as meetings-workshops with artists from all over the world.

Most of these artists performed as part of the “Persona” arts festival https://lemosche.wordpress.com/2017/04/17/persona/.

Recently curator of the “Queen of Paris” event at 59 Rivoli, he proposed a series of works accompanied by performances as part of a collective exhibition.
